I remember the first time I saw Amber Rose. She was being feature in a Ludacris video as a Video Vixen and I say to myself who is this bad A female rocking a bald head? And next thing you know she is Kanye West's girlfriend. She was literally the Hip Hop Bianca Jagger and still is...if you know the story to Bianca's divorce with Mick it is the same with Mr. West. Amber just never marry Kanye, she married Wiz Khalifa and recently had a son by him. But I loved how she represent Kanye to the fullest. She was that chick! I loved how she stuck with the minimal meets urban street style look. Always will be a favorite of mine.

In The Kitchen | Red Lobster "Cheddar Bay" Biscuits

Thursday, June 12, 2014

What I Used:
- Red Lobster "Cheddar Bay Biscuit" Mix
- 3 slices of Cheddar cheese
- 1/3 Cup Butter
- Garlic Herb blend
- 3/4 Cup cold water

Normally I do not post pictures of me making food on my blog, but on some rare occasions if I admire my activity I will blog about it. So today I decided to finally make some biscuits. Honestly I have been on the quest to make some favorite fast food restaurants biscuits. For example, Popeyes, KFC and now Red Lobster. I really have not touch down with Popeyes(favorite) and KFC (I made some from scratch just never took pictures).

#1. |  First I laid out the cheese horizontal on a cutting board, with the pizza cutter(above in first photo) I cut into long straight pieces. Taking the long straight cheese slices I then cut vertically. Next with my kitchen scissors I started cutting into small pieces until they became chunks.

#2. |  Next I combined the Cheddar bay mix and the shredded cheese with 3/4 cup of cold water. Then I began to stir all together until it became dough.
#3. |  After the mix became dough. I then used a spoon to make sure it was thick to place on a baking sheet. Next I sprayed the sheet with non-stick oil and placed the dough with a large amount the spoon could hold.
#4. |  On the box, it tells me to place 8-10 portions and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet. But as you can see I made 12 and then watch as they grew for 16 minutes. So beautiful (Excuse me, I am greedy).

#5.|  Next I combined the 1/3 cup of butter and Garlic Herb blend into a bowl; placed in the microwave for a 1 minute and 30 seconds and quickly but gently put garlic sauce on biscuits with a measuring spoon while the biscuits were still hot and fresh out of the oven.
After cooling, Enjoy!

Gainesville Blues

Monday, June 02, 2014

Lately I have been trying to focus on being happy and successful. The irony of it all seems like I have to start all over again. Being that I am still under 25, above 21 makes me feels as though I should be accomplished. Being around others that are successful and happy makes it a bittersweet situation. I am inspired by their livelihoods but then I go back to mine. Not trying to sound all negative but I'm in the middle of being or being let down. Not blaming no one at all, but myself...it is really up to me.

So this past weekend my family on my mom's Dad side met up in Gainesville for a sad occasion, but after all it end up being a overwhelming well needed occasion. We all ate out a Asian buffet and it was so hilarious being that they are southern country they hardly try authentic diverse food. So to see them try and eat Asian cuisines was too funny. I was so amazed I hardly ate, I finished my plate watched and helped them discover food.
